OUR MISSION & BELIEFS

We live to love God, serve others, nurture Christian believers, and reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether you are a believer, a skeptic, or one who seeks to know the truth, you are welcome! Visit us and begin your journey toward God.

THE SCRIPTURES

We believe that the Scriptures, composed of the 66 books of the Holy Bible, to be the inspired Word of God, unerring in all they teach and affirm. They are the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men and the supreme and final authority for all Christian faith and life (Prov. 30:5-6; Matt. 5:17-18; John 5:39-40; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Heb. 4:12; 2 Pet. 1:21).

GOD AND THE TRINITY

We believe that there is one living and true God, the creator and ruler of all things, infinitely perfect, worthy of all honor and love, and eternally existing in three co-equal persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption (Gen. 1:1; Deut. 6:4; Jer. 10:10; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:5-6; Rev. 4:6-11).

JESUS CHRIST

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death for sin, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth (John 1:1-14; Luke 1:35; Acts 1:11; I Cor. 15:1-4; I Thes. 4:13-18; Heb. 7:25; I Pet. 1:19; I Pet. 2:22).

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, dispenses spiritual gifts, and is an abiding helper, teacher and guide (Eph. 1:13-14; Eph. 5:18; I Cor. 12:4).

SALVATION

We believe that man was created by God in His own image; that he willfully sinned and thereby incurred physical, spiritual and eternal death, which is separation from God; that as a consequence, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and are sinners by choice and therefore under condemnation. We believe salvation is the gift of God, extended to sinful men by divine grace, and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

All who receive Him are justified before God, possess eternal life, and shall never perish (Gen. 1:26-27; John 1:12; John 3:16; John 6:39-40; Rom. 3:23; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 10:9-13; I Pet. 1:18-19).

THE CHURCH

We believe in the universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, reconciled across gender, racial, ethnic, and class differences, and joined together for worship, ministry, and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of making disciples of all nations (Eph. 2:19-22; Acts 1:8; Eph. 5:19-21; Acts 2:42; Heb. 10:23-25; Matt. 28:18-20).

THE LAST THINGS

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the righteous to everlasting life and the wicked to everlasting punishment (Matt. 16:27; Acts 1:11; Phil. 3:20; I Thes. 4:15; II Tim. 4:1; I Cor. 15; II Thes. 1:7-10).
