We believe that every child and adult is uniquely made in the image of God. Our mission in the Summer Day Camp at First Baptist Church is to reach out to the families of Flushing and lead them to a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ by meeting the academic, spiritual and social needs of their children.
Registration begins March 1, 2017. Camp runs July 5 – August 18, 2017.

Registration Hours: Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Fridays, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers and workers for our camp. We have two types of positions available at our camp:
TEACHER ASSISTANT (TA): You must be at least 16-years old and will be assigned to a class to assist the lead teacher with tutoring individual students, checking over homework, taking attendance, making copies, cleaning, etc.. You can work as a volunteer or be paid staff.
All TA candidates who wish to become paid staff MUST apply with the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) at https://application.nycsyep.com/. MAKE SURE you select QUEENS as the Boro and CPC-QUEENS as the Provider if you want to work at our Summer Camp. SYEP online applications are due March 17, 2017.
